Heart to Heart

Heart to Heart is a ministry of Bread of Life Church and we hold to these Articles of Faith.

We exist to help women in their daily walk with God by pairing them together in the hopes that over a six-month period, they will meet on a regular basis and encourage one another.  Each pair is given a prayer supporter, who will pray that the relationship be fruitful in deepening the pair's resolve and love for Jesus Christ and who will also pray for any specific prayer requests the pair wish to share.

Heart to Heart was born out of a need and desire for cross-generational mentoring in the church.  Our theme verse is from Titus 2:1-5:

​

“But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for sound doctrine. Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance.  Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.”
